Math Workshop week 5

this week for math we did some more problem solving this week. The question we had to solve this week was

This took me so long to figure out but i finally got the answer. In the end I did it by doing 10% of 1420.00 which was 142, and then doing 5 percent of 142 which was 71. Then I added 71 to 142 to 1420 to get the original number without the discount.

DO you enjoy maths?

week 4 writing

Hello we have keep doing to speech. This week we looked at the goals damage caused, challenge and specific problem. Here is mine so far.

I bet you didn't know that 805 million people go without food every

17,000 fewer children die each day than in 1990, but more than six million children still die before their fifth birthday each year.

How would you feel if you could not eat a nice nutritious

Meal every day?

You'll be shocked to know that more than six million children

still die before their fifth birthday each year around the world. The reason all these children do not have access to the health care and food to keep them alive.

The problem that we are facing today is that not enough people and families haven't got the money to get the food and the health care that they need. Ways I think that we can fix this is lower the price of food in supermarkets and the health care at hospitals so that more people can live their lives knowing that they can get food and health care when they need it. One thing we could do is at the end of every day the super markets and or some farmers could give out some nutritious food or meals to families that are thrilling and that are going through hard times. For hostels I think that they need to set up hospitals in different countries and in places where people are dying regaly. I think that we need to spend more time helping the people that are struggling with money.

Lead a healthy lifestyle. Eat a balanced diet and exercise regularly. The World Health Organisation recommends taking 10,000 steps every day.

Male Gorillas are larger than female Gorillas, male Gorillas stand 5 feet tall (1.8 meters) and weigh up to 500 pounds (227 kgs).
